Rix Riptide is a Super Size headline serif typeface created to introduce a new current into the stagnant serif landscape by reinterpreting the sculptural qualities of traditional brush calligraphy through a modern handwriting sensibility, delivering strength and emotion in digital environments while unifying the distinct rhythms of its glyphs into a cohesive flow, ensuring clarity even at small sizes with a stroke-based structure consistently applied across Korean, Latin, and numerals, and providing strong visual presence as a typographic graphic object in screens, posters, signage, titles, and other impact-driven media.

Rix격류는 정체된 세리프 디자인에 새로운 흐름을 제시하겠다는 의도에서 출발한 헤드라인용 세리프체입니다. 전통 붓글씨의 조형미를 현대적 손글씨 감각으로 재해석해, 디지털 환경에서도 강인함과 감성을 동시에 전달합니다. ‘격류’라는 이름처럼 힘 있게 뻗는 필획의 에너지와 리듬을 담았으며, Super Size로 제작된 단독 Regular 웨이트는 짧고 강한 메시지를 선명하게 드러내는 데 최적화되어 있습니다. 자소마다 개성 있는 리듬을 갖되 문장 안에서 자연스럽게 조화되도록 설계해, 하나의 작품처럼 흐르는 시각적 하모니를 완성했습니다. 또한 작은 크기에서 세리프가 뭉개지는 한계를 보완해 선명도를 강화했고, 영문·숫자에도 동일한 필획 구조를 적용해 일관된 타이포그래피 언어를 구축했습니다. 스크린, 포스터, 옥외 간판, 타이틀 등 임팩트가 중요한 영역에서 텍스트를 그래픽 오브제로 활용할 수 있는 존재감이 강점입니다.
