English	ilwol is the watch inspired by YEONO and SEO, the traditional stories of Pohang in Korea Republic. In story, YEONO and SEO controlled the sun and moon respectively, and when they left together, the light of the world disappeared,which means solar eclipse. It is designed to put their story on the watch. Its hour hand always shines brightly, meaning YEONO and the sun. In contrast, the minute hand of ilwol seems to be moon, symbolizing SEO. What is most interesting is the fact that the eclipse, caused by their encounter, was also realized on the watch. When the shining hour hand and the minute hand meet, the solar eclipse occurs on the watch.
Native	일월은 연오랑 세오녀의 설화에서 영감을 받아 디자인된 시계입니다. 포항에서 생산된 금속으로 제작되며, 미니멀한 디자인으로 누구에게나 어울리는 일월은 포항만의 지역적 컬러를 담아낸 패션 오브제입니다. 일월은 세오녀(달)가 일본으로 떠난 연오랑(해)을 찾아 떠나는 여정을 담은 포항의 전통 설화[연오랑 세오녀]를 모티브로 한 시계입니다. 일월에서 시침은 연오랑(양의 기운)을 의미하며, 항상 빛을 머금고 있습니다. 세오(음의 기운)를 의미하는 분침은 달의 형상을 하고 있습니다. 설화에서 세오가 연오랑을 따라 여정을 계속 하는 것처럼, 달의 형상을 한 분침은 빛을 머금은 시침을 향해 끝없이 달리는데 그들의 여정이 시간처럼 끝없이 이어짐을 형상화합니다. 또한, 일월에서는 그들의 이야기에서 가장 중요한 이벤트인 일식 현상을 시각화했습니다. 연오랑과 세오가 만나 신라를 떠나자 온 세계에 빛이 사라지는 현상이 발생했다는 설화처럼, 시계 위 시침과 분침이 만나면 시계 위에서는 빛(해)을 달이 가리는 일식현상이 나타납니다. 12시 정각, 3시 15분, 6시 반 등 시계 위에서 시침과 분침이 마주하는 시각에 일식 현상이 시계 위에서 나타납니다. 시침의 빛을 분침이 가리면서 솟구쳐야 할 빛은 다시 아래로 산란되고, 이를 통해 사용자가 일식현상을 경험하도록 하였습니다.
