AI-based music services predict our preferences and offer convenience, but the experience of choosing music ourselves is gradually fading. ‘PICK’ revives the joy of selecting music. Comprising earphones and a speaker, 'PICK' lets users pick songs they like with a simple touch, like picking up a coin. At home, placing the earphones on the speaker naturally plays the songs picked throughout the day and automatically forms a playlist. This replaces the need to unlock a phone, press like, or manually create playlists, making selection and archiving effortless and intuitive. This process turns music saving into a meaningful experience.

AI 기반 음악 서비스는 우리의 취향을 예측하고 편리함을 주지만, 직접 음악을 고르는 경험은 점차 사라지고 있습니다. ‘PICK’은 이러한 환경 속에서도 사용자가 스스로 취향의 경계를 설정하고, 다시금 선택의 주체가 되는 경험을 제공합니다. 이어폰과 스피커로 구성된 ‘PICK’은 사용자가 음악을 듣다가 마음에 드는 곡이 나오면, 동전을 집듯 이어폰을 터치해 음악을 ‘저금’합니다. 이는 기존처럼 휴대폰을 꺼내 좋아요를 누르고 수동으로 플레이리스트를 만드는 번거로움을 줄이고, 단 한 번의 터치로 음악 선택과 아카이빙 과정을 직관적으로 단축시킵니다. 귀가 후 이어폰을 스피커 위에 올려두면 하루 동안 저금한 음악이 자연스럽게 흘러나오며 자동으로 플레이리스트를 형성합니다. 이러한 사용 시나리오는 기존의 번거로운 음악 저장 과정을 간편하면서도 의미 있는 경험으로 바꾸어, 사용자가 자신의 취향과 선택을 지속적으로 탐구하도록 돕습니다. ‘PICK’은 선택이 사라진 음악 환경 속에서 다시금 ‘선택하는 즐거움’을 회복시키는 디바이스입니다.
