Doyoung Kim is an awards expert who has focused exclusively on design awards for the past 20 years. He began his business in 2008 with Designsori, a media outlet that assists in and facilitates submissions to design awards worldwide. He founded the Asia Design Prize and the K-Design Award. Notably, the K-Design Award, Korea's representative design award, has become so successful that it is now recognized as one of Asia's top three design awards. His vision is 'to leave a design award to the world that will last 100 years'. To this end, he focuses on qualitative growth rather than quantitative growth and on strengthening the company's viability. He is truly committed to creating an awards brand that will stand the test of time. His books include 'Designer's Design Award, Notes on Starting a Design Studio'.
김도영은 지난 20년간 오직 디자인 어워드에만 집중한 '공모전 전문가'입니다. 2008년, 전 세계 디자인 어워드의 출품을 돕고 촉진하는 미디어인 디자인소리를 시작으로 사업을 시작했습니다. 그는 아시아 디자인 프라이즈와 K-디자인 어워드를 창시했습니다. 특히, 한국을 대표하는 디자인상인 K-디자인 어워드는 현재 아시아 3대 디자인상 중 하나로 불릴 정도로 큰 성공을 거두고 있습니다. 그의 비전은 '100년 가는 디자인상을 세상에 남기는 것'이며, 이를 위해 양적 성장보다는 질적 성장, 그리고 기업의 생존력 강화에 주력하고 있습니다. 그는 100년 후에도 지속될 어워드 브랜드를 만들기 위해 진심을 다하고 있습니다. 저서로는 <디자이너's 디자인 공모전, 디자인 스튜디오 창업 노트> 가 있습니다.
