CHINA / IDTC INTERNATIONAL DESIGN TREND CENTER
Guangliang Sang is a Director of Research at the International Design Trend Center (IDTC), Hongik University. Also he is a scholar and designer based between China and Korea. With more than 10 years of service design research experience and strong record of success in challenging projects, Sang experienced in working in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams. Sang worked in Seoul and Wuhan on various high-end projects at different scales from user research to master design schemes, including UX, UI, Product design, Brand design and so on. In the year of 2022, he finished his doctoral study and received his Ph.D. degree in Design Studies at the International Design school for Advanced Studies (IDAS), Hongik University. He was a Research Fellow in International Design Trend Center and soon promoted to work as the Director of Research at the International Design Trends Center. Also, Sang is an expert in Design Methodology, Design Trends, Design Thinking, Kansei Engineering, Service Design and Design Process. He is also a full member of The Korean Society of Design Culture and Korean Institute of Design Research Society.
