Chul-Hwee Kim has accumulated extensive experience over the past 15 years in various fields of visual communication, including graphic design, brand identity, artwork, and font design. Although based in South Korea, he strives to present designs that balance cultural context and technological innovation, resonating not only in East Asia but also on the global stage. VBstudio's work focuses on visually expressing the authenticity and stories of brands, aiming to naturally foster empathy for a brand's values through design. Since its establishment in 2016, VBstudio has gained wide-ranging experience in building brand identities, developing graphic design systems, and formulating visual communication strategies through projects such as the branding of BTS's WINGS album. Additionally, through the rebranding of the Asia Design Prize, VBstudio symbolically incorporated representations of the earth, humanity, and Asia within simple forms, effectively conveying the competition's commitment to fairness and a human-centered ethos.
